Prof. A.K. Goswami, mentor of this course is holding the post of  course director. Prof. Goswami is a thoroughly trained analytical chemist with sound academic and research background. He has more than 27 years of teaching and research experience, 75 research publications to his credit pertaining to all aspect of analysis. He has also taught in foreign universities and has visited number of countries such as Japan, South Africa, Kenya and Middle East. He is well known figure in academic field  with a quality of academic leadership and vision. More than 20 students have been awarded Ph.D. under his able guidance.

Faculty 

The department of chemistry has got a rich faculty having four professors , one associate professor and 4 assistant professors. The department has got a great heritage of professors who have immensely contributed in the fields of Co-ordination Chemistry, Organic Synthesis, Chemical Kinetics and Bio-Inorganic as well as Physical Chemistry.

To have the state of the art knowledge in recent developments many luminaries of the field are being invited for guest lectures which helps the students to gain deep insight of their subject.
