The rapid industrial growth and development of novel chemicals has multi folded the requirement of research and development personnel in chemical industries. The requirement of such personnel is not met out by general students having majored in pure chemistry.

Thus, person with thorough training both in chemical process as well as quality control is the present day need of modern chemical industry. To fulfill the gap between demand and supply of such personnel the present course has been ventured by M.L. Sukhadia University as a two year self financing Post Graduate (M. Sc.) course in Industrial Chemistry.
