Eligibility
All foreign students anticipating to join the university should apply
through Association of
Indian Universities
(AIU), which will verify their eligibility. The mission takes a fee of
US $ 100, as processing fee. Prior to that, the foreign student must
have attained 60 % in the last attended exam. For more information see

Special Rules Regarding Foreign Students
A ADMISSION
1.
Candidates who have
qualification from outside India and are now willing to join any
course with the University must first apply to Association of Indian
Universities (AIU) Delhi for equivalence certificate, Having obtained
such certificate, they should apply for eligibility letter for
admission to the University. In order to obtain eligibility letter for
admission to Ph.D. Programme, the candidate must also submit approved
synopsis of Ph.D. by a recognised supervisor, along with the
application.
2.
In respect of those
students who produce letter of admission eligibility form this
University, the Indian mission abroad will issue Student Visa/Research
Visa.
3.
The foreign students seeking admission to any course of the
University including Ph.D. should apply through their embassy/ high
commission. Those who have passed their qualifying examination from a
University, within India (other then MLSU) should also apply under
intimation to their embassy/high commission. They also have to submit
migration certificate within one month from the date of provisional
admission.
4.
A foreign national shall be
eligible for admission to any course of this University provided
he/she has obtained minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
This rule, however, will not apply in case of those candidates who
qualify their graduation from this University.
5.
For admission to First Year
of Three Year Degree Course in any faculty, only those candidates
shall be eligible who had English as a subject in their qualifying
examination.
6.
For admission to First Year
of the Three-Year Degree Course in science faculty, only those
candidates shall be eligible who had General Science as a subject in
their qualifying examination.
7.
The Dean, P.G. Studies will
decide the cases for Ph.D. enrollment of foreign students in
consultation with the International Students Advisor.
8.
The foreign students are
required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from the specified
authority by the Ministry of Home at the time of their admission. They
will also submit an AIDS Test Report from S.M.S. Hospital, Jaipur /
R.N.T. Medical College, Udaipur of ICMR AIDS SURVEILLANCE Centre.
9.
Residential permit granted
for studies and entry-visa for more than six months will be treated at
par with student visa.
10.
All foreign students
seeking admission to this University shall be apprised that the medium
of instruction in the University is generally Hindi at the
Undergraduate level.
11.
All foreign students will
be admitted, if otherwise found eligible only as regular students in
the college concerned, Foreign students are not eligible to appear as
a Non-Collegiate (Private) candidate at any examination of this
University.
12.
Failure students shall be
allowed to take regular admission in the same class only twice in the
immediate successive session. He/she shall not be entitled to become
Ex-student in any case, In case he/she does not pass any class within
three years, he/ she has to go back to his/her country.
13.
The University shall not accept any admission on transfer
and/or allow a foreign student to change his/her admission from other
educational institutes/from any other University into this University
during packaged programme of study.
14.
A Foreign student is
required to submit a copy of the registration with Criminal
Investigation Department, Udaipur after he/she is admitted.
15.
Foreign students are
required to submit all original documents for verification to the Head
of the Institution while seeking admission in the college concerned.
16.
Students who fail to
furnish the required documents at the time of admission, his/her
admission shall remain provisional for a period not beyond 31st
December every year. Thereafter provisional admission shall be
cancelled by the University/ Institution and the matter shall be
reported to the Ministry and Embassy concerned.

FEES

Tuition Fees
i) Undergraduate Courses
First Year
Rs. 340 per month
Second Year and Third Year
Rs. 440 per month
ii) Post-graduate Course
Rs. 540 per month
iii) M-Phil
Rs. 800 per month
iv) Ph.D.
Rs. 9600 per year
2.
University shall charge Rs.
100 (One Hundred Only) as Eligibility verification fee on admission.
3.
Fees under all other heads
charged from local students, shall be payable by foreign students at
the same rates.
C
DISCIPLINE
1.
Foreign students are
required to maintain good conduct during the course of studies in the
University and are to act according to the advice of the Dean Students
Welfare, International Students Advisor, Head of the Institution
concerned and other University authorities, Otherwise disciplinary
action shall be taken as per provisions existing in the Information
Bulletin of the University/Institute. They shall not participate into
local politics and local franchise except students union election
wherein they will be eligible to cast a vote only.
2.
The student shall make
payment of college fees and University dues punctually on the
prescribed dates.
3.
If the foreign student
remains absent from the class for one month continuously, his/her
admission will stand cancelled and he/she will be no more a student of
the college.
D.
MISCELLANEOUS
1.
In case, a foreign student
desires to leave for abroad during the course of study, he/she should
obtain No Objection Certificate from the Head of
Institution/Department and immediately on return. He/she should submit
a certificate of medical fitness to the concerned
Institution/Department.
2.
So long, the student is not
registered for any of the course, the University authorities will not
issue a bonafide students certificate to him.
3.
The Head of the
Institution/Dean P.G. Studies will send the details of the foreign
students immediately after their admission to the Registrar and the
International Students Advisor.
4.
All other rules and regulations for local students shall apply
for foreign students also.
Time
to Take Admissions
Ø
Admissions of the
University are open from March and closed by July.
Ø
Professional courses’
admissions are closed by May.
Ø
For Ph.D. Programme,
admissions can take place at any time of the year with the approval of
the Ph.D. Synopsis by the Research Board.
