Dr. K. Venugopalan is Professor in Physics. He is the director of the University computer centre and the co-ordinator of the UGC-DSA program. He leads the
Hyperfine Interaction and Nanomagnatic
Materials Research group. His research fields are development of nano magnetic materials, Mössbauer spectroscopy studies in magnetic alloys, compounds, films and minerals. He teaches nuclear physics, condensed matter physics, electronics, computational methods and computer networking to post graduate students.
