For the promotion and development of games and sports amongst the students of our University and its Affiliated Colleges , the University has a University Sports Board (USB) having its independent budget, offices and ground facilities. The board is headed by a Chairman and assisted by a Secretary.

The Vice Chancellor constitutes the University Sports Board in which the Deans of the Constituent Colleges, Principals of Government and Private Affiliated Colleges , a Lady Member of the Faculty, Comptroller of the University, Coaches and Games Secretary of the Central Students Union are its members. The Board is the policy making body.

The University has Playground, Athletic Track, Courts and Gym Facilities. The games that are played are Swimming, Boxing, Badminton, Volleyball, Wrestling, Power Lifting & Best Physics, Athletics, Yogasana,Cricket, Hockey, Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Handball, Judo, Gymnastics , Weight Lifting, Chess, , Archery, Soft Ball etc. every year Inter-Collegiate Tournaments (ICT) are organized and University teams are sent for the Inter University Tournaments (IUT) that are finalized by the Inter University Sports Board of India under the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India.
