Industrial Visit

Under the Charted Club of Bureau of Indian Standards, the student club member of BIS along with the faculty mentor Er. Prafull Kothari, visited the Udaipur Cement Works Plant and Daroli Limestone Mines today. The objective of the visit was aimed to enhance the importance of the benchmark parameters aligned by the BIS and it's implementation in an Industry. Also, the entire process starting from the extraction of limestone, to the crushing plant, belt drive transformation of the material to the plants, and manufacturing, processing, quality assurance and packaging of the Cement was demonstrated for the students.
