3-Day Web-GIS Training, 7-9.01.2021

A 3-day Web-GIS training programme has been organized by Department of Geography under the RUSA 2.0 project from 7th – 9th, January, 2021 conducted by Prof. Seema Jalan, PI in RUSA 2.0 project. The training has been organized for project fellows, researchers and faculty members working in the field of Web-GIS. The expert of the programme Mr. Mohammed Ali. S from RRSC-Jodhpur covered various aspects of Web-GIS viz., Front-end, Back-end, Middleware technologies, Desktop GIS, Mobile GIS, Server GIS, etc. A total of 9 participants joined the programme. The training was followed by Hands on sessions every day. The participants were evaluated on the basis of assignment test and were provided digital certificates for their successful completion of the training. Ms. Urmi Sharma, Assistant Professor in the Department co-coordinated the programme.
