Internship Programme of Turn the Bus US based NGO, 16th May – 20th July, 2021
Department of Geography with a team of its scholars and passed out post-graduate students has successfully conducted an internship programme in collaboration with Turn the Bus (TTB) US based NGO. The objective of the programme was to develop E-content for the students of 10th standard of Bihar School Examination Board facing hardships in getting the education in remote areas of the state. Ms. Urmi Sharma under the able guidance of Prof. Seema Jalan, Head of the Department coordinated the programme. Ms. Java Singh, Chief Learning Officer at TTB and Ms. Sharma selected 08 extraordinary scholars and students to develop the E-content in Geography. All the interns submitted their lecture videos by the end of the internship and were given honorarium payments from the NGO. The work done by interns were highly appreciated by Ms. Singh and were made available on the YouTube channel of the NGO. The team comprised of the following members:
