Department of Rajasthani

The Department was established and was started in July, 1982 with the classes of first year and M.A. Previous. The first batch of Bachelors Degree Passed out in the year 1985 with Rajasthani as an optional subject. The first batch of M.A. final Passed out in the year 1984. Professor N.N. Joshi was Head of the Department at that time. He retired in the year 1986. After the retirement of Professor N.N. Joshi, Dr. A.S. Khan, Asstt. Professor taken charge as Incharge of the Department and later he was placed as Associate Professor under carrier advancement scheme and became Head of the Deptt. In the year 1993 Dr. Khan became Professor and Continued upto March 1996. He retired on 31st March, 1996.

After Dr. A.S. Khans retirement, Dr. L.S. Rao, Asst.. Professor became Incharge of the Deptt. And continued upto 2006. In July 2006, Dr. L. S. Rao was retired. After Dr. L.S. Raos retirement all teaching posts are vacant. In the Department one Professor, one Associate Professor and one Asstt. Professor posts are sanctioned under non-plan Budget and are lying vacant till today. Teaching of U.G. and P.G. classes by Guest Faculties.
